
Brian joined Napierski, VanDenburgh, Napierski & O’Connor, LLP, as an Associate Attorney in September of 2021. Brian has enjoyed a wide variety of practice areas; although, he primarily focuses in the area of civil litigation, defending medical professionals and institutions against claims of medical malpractice. He also has experience with personal injury cases and other lawsuits involving legal malpractice claims, premises liability issues, construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, insurance disputes, contract disputes, real property disputes and estate litigation. Brian is otherwise familiar with handling real property transactions and conveyances, Surrogate’s Court matters and drafting contracts and agreements.
Brian is admitted to practice law in all New York State Courts and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. Before becoming a licensed attorney, Brian received a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University in 2012 and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2015, graduating cum laude.
As a law student, Brian gained practical legal experience through internships with a United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of New York, the Office of the NYS Attorney General, the Nassau County District Attorney, and the Albany County District Attorney. Also, during his law school career, Brian was the winner of the Dominick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition and honored as one of the best oral advocates. In his final year of law school, Brian received the Robert A. Barker Award for his outstanding service to the Moot Court Program.
